Itineraries

Day 1 :

Arrival – Negombo

Route Duration: Approx. 30 minutes

  • • Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll be welcomed warmly by our representative with a flower garland and assisted to your private vehicle.
  • Head to Negombo, a lively coastal town known for its Dutch heritage and bustling fishing community.
  • Check-in to the Hotel (cozy, beachside, perfect to unwind after a long flight).
  • After a relaxed lunch (own arrangement), explore:
    • Negombo Beach – golden sands, sunset views, and catamarans dotting the horizon.
    • Optional visit: Dutch Canal or St. Mary’s Church – colonial beauty and peace.
  • Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :

Negombo – Jaffna

Route Duration: Approx. 6.5 hours

  • After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic journey to Jaffna, the heart of Tamil culture in Sri Lanka.
  • Enjoy photo stops and breaks along the way.
  • Check-in to a hotel offer comfort and ideal central location in jaffna. 
  • Dinner and overnight stay. Take the evening to rest or explore the quiet streets of Jaffna.

Day 3 :

Discovering Jaffna

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your northern adventure with:
    • Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil – a towering Dravidian-style Hindu temple rich with daily rituals, music, and deep devotion.
    • Jaffna Fort – built by the Portuguese in the 1600s, this star-shaped fort offers historical insights and views of the lagoon.
    • Nagadeepa Island – reached via a short ferry ride, home to both a Buddhist temple and a Hindu kovil, symbolizing religious harmony.
    • Optional: Visit Keerimalai Hot Springs, known for its curative waters, or unwind at Casuarina Beach, the calmest in the north.
  • Lunch on your own in town – sample Jaffna crab curry or dosai.
  • Shopping Stop: Explore palmyrah-based crafts, Jaffna mango chutneys, and local handicrafts.
  • Return for dinner and overnight stay at your Jaffna hotel.

Day 4 :

Jaffna – Kandy

Route Duration: Approx. 6.5 hours

  • After breakfast, check out and travel to the cultural capital of Kandy, nestled in the hills.
  • On arrival:
    • Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) – the holiest Buddhist site in the country, home to the sacred tooth of Lord Buddha.
    • Kandy Lake – created by the last king of Sri Lanka, it’s ideal for a calm evening walk.
    • Optional: Kandyan Cultural Show – showcasing Sri Lankan traditional dances, drumming, and fire-walking.
  • Check-in to a Hotel in kandy.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 :

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Route Duration: Approx. 2.5 hours

  • After breakfast, check out and head to the cool, misty hills of Nuwara Eliya – often called “Little England”.
  • En route:
    • Tea Factory & Plantation Visit – witness tea plucking, processing, and enjoy a cup of the world-renowned Ceylon Tea.
    • Ramboda Falls – a majestic cascade nestled amid green hills.
  • After check-in:
    • Visit Gregory Lake – take a boat ride or enjoy lakeside snacks.
    • Seetha Amman Temple – believed to be where Sita from the Ramayana was held captive.
    • Optional: Victoria Park for a peaceful garden stroll or Hakgala Botanical Gardens for flower lovers.
  • Check-in to a Hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6:

Nuwara Eliya – Bentota

Route Duration: Approx. 5.5 hours

  • After breakfast, check out and head south to the golden beaches of Bentota.
  • Optional en route stop at Kitulgala for a short rainforest trek or quick photo stop.
  • Check-in to a hotel in Bentota which have  beachfront relaxation with modern amenities.
  • Spend the evening at leisure on Bentota Beach, enjoying the sea breeze.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7:

Bentota – Colombo

Route Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours

  • After breakfast, enjoy the last day with exciting highlights:
    • Madu River Safari – glide through mangroves and small islands, and experience fish therapy.
    • Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery – learn about turtle conservation and see baby turtles being released.
  • Continue to Colombo, the commercial hub.
  • Colombo City Tour includes.
    • Gangaramaya Temple – mix of Buddhist elements, antiques, and architecture.
    • Independence Memorial Hall, Galle Face Green for sunset views.
  • Shopping Stop: Colombo City Centre or One Galle Face Mall – a mix of branded and local finds.
  • Check-in to a hotel in colombo.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo. 

Day 8:

Departure

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bandaranaike International Airport.
  • Our team will assist with your luggage and wish you a heartfelt goodbyes from Sri Lanka.
